This set consists of five pieces of enameled metalware, commonly referred to as graniteware or agateware, featuring a distinctive brown and white marbleized or swirled exterior pattern. The collection includes a large skillet with a single handle and pouring spout, a deep-bodied chamber pot with a flared handle, a shallow round plate, a ladle with a dark handle, and a small mug or jar with a flared rim. Each item is constructed from enameled steel or iron. The interiors of the skillet, chamber pot, and mug are finished in white enamel, while the interior of the ladle is finished in a pale blue-white enamel. The swirled pattern is applied to the exterior surfaces of all pieces, and the plate features the marbleized pattern on both the front and back.
