Description
A mechanical regulator-style wall clock produced by Ridgeway. The case is constructed of wood, likely oak, with a medium brown finish, featuring a pediment top, a two-pane glass front, and a shaped base with three support blocks. The round cream-colored dial displays black Arabic numerals, a railroad-style outer minute track, and black spade-style hands. The Ridgeway logo is printed in script below the 12 o'clock position. The dial features three winding arbors corresponding to a three-train mechanical movement providing time, strike, and chime functions. The lower glass pane is decorated with gold-tone lettering reading REGULATOR set within a Greek key border. A silver adhesive label located on the bottom interior of the case bears the Ridgeway logo and registered serial number 84W15943. The clock is accompanied by a brass-toned pendulum and a handwritten note specifying a German movement and Westminster chimes. 24x13
