This collection consists of five decorative miniature model cannons in various historical styles and functional forms. The grouping includes a Spanish Imperial model cannon featuring a bronze-toned embossed metal barrel on a dark-stained wood carriage with brass-toned strapwork and silver-toned decorative wheels, retaining a paper label marked Canon Artilleria Imperial Siglo XVI. A naval or siege-style cannon features a silver-painted metal barrel mounted on a tiered dark wood carriage with solid wooden wheels and a pile of four fixed cannonballs at the rear. The collection also includes a cannon-form table lighter with a chrome-plated metal barrel and top-lever ignition mechanism on a black metal carriage. Two additional field gun models, consistent with diecast souvenir pencil sharpeners, feature brass-finished barrels on black cast metal carriages with spoked wheels; the carriage of the smaller model is incised with the number 302. Materials used throughout the collection include wood, cast metal, chrome-plated metal, and brass-finished metal.
