A handmade necklace strung with numerous cured animal claws (crab or lobster pincers) arranged along a braided cord in a fan pattern. The claws range from light tan to deep amber-brown with natural mottling and serrated inner edges. Shown on a measuring mat for scale, the finished piece spans roughly 15 inches end to end.
