Peter Beard worked with the Polaroid 20x24 camera through the Polaroid Corporation's Artists Support Program, creating a small but important series of large-format Polacolor photographs. Only a limited number of works from his 1985–1987 and early 1990s sessions entered the Polaroid Collection. His experimental multiple-exposure Polaroids combine portraiture, collage, and a fascination with time and memory, making these 20x24 inch works among the most sought-after large-format Polaroids.

Peter Beard arbeitete mit der Polaroid 20x24 Kamera im Rahmen des Artists Support Program der Polaroid Corporation und schuf eine kleine, aber bedeutende Serie großformatiger Polacolor-Fotografien. Nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von Arbeiten aus seinen Sessions von 1985–1987 und den frühen 1990er-Jahren gelangte in die Polaroid Collection. Seine experimentellen Mehrfachbelichtungen verbinden Porträtfotografie, Collage und die Auseinandersetzung mit Zeit und Erinnerung.
