A well-turned Paul Masson decanter in the form of an apothecary jar, glazed a deep oxblood brown and banded in gold about the shoulder and foot. The front carries a gilt cartouche lettered Spirit Vini Vitis, Paul Masson Brandy, 80 Proof, wreathed in vines and crowned with a small armorial shield, and a gold cord and tassel hangs from the neck. Approximately 10 inches tall, the paper label to the reverse now stained and rubbed. Gilt wear and light chipping to the banding. See photos for exact size and condition.
