An exceptionally rare late 19th-century industrial textile tool is an authentic "Eureka Warp Measure" manufactured by The National Model Works of Chicago, Illinois. Designed to measure yarn or wire tension and length during manufacturing, this mechanical gauge utilizes a perforated cast metal handle, a 6.75-inch circular wooden contact disc, and a complex geared dual-dial system featuring a 50-increment wheel that clicks as it advances over a line.
