A Lionstone decanter modeled as a frontier shopkeeper in a long apron and broad hat, cloth and cleaver in hand and a bucket of fruit set at his boots. The face is a shrewd and particular bit of modeling, and the greens, russets, and dusty golds of the painting are agreeable throughout. Approximately 12 inches tall on a rocky plinth, the base plate lettered Lionstone Whiskey. Light staining to the pale base and general wear consistent with age.
