The jar is finished in a creamy white overglaze with hand-painted cold-painted accents in red, black, and orange.

The cookie jar is in fair vintage condition. There is significant and widespread loss to the original cold-painted details on both sides of the figure, notably on the facial features, bow tie, and floral elements. Fine-line crazing is present across the entire glazed surface. The interior and the unglazed foot rim exhibit typical shelf wear and light surface soiling. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are present.
