Provenance and Authentication:
According to the Letter of Authenticity (LOA) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided by the consignor, this collectible was subjected to a forensic examination. The accompanying documentation states that the signatures were evaluated with reference to multiple characteristics, including ink deposition, material and aging characteristics, stylistic consistency, and historical context. Based on the examination described in these documents, the authentication provider concluded that the findings were consistent with the attributed signatures. The LOA and COA provided by the consignor accompany the lot.

An Albert Einstein-signed third edition, revised, of The Meaning of Relativity, published by Princeton University Press in 1950 and retaining its period dust jacket. The title page is prominently signed and dated by the author, "A. Einstein. 1951."

Originating from Einstein's lectures delivered at Princeton University in 1921, The Meaning of Relativity became one of his principal book-length expositions of the conceptual and mathematical foundations of relativity. The text addresses space and time in pre-relativity physics, the special theory of relativity, and the general theory of relativity.

This Third Edition, Revised is particularly significant for the inclusion of Appendix II, "Generalized Theory of Gravitation," reflecting Einstein's continuing efforts during the later decades of his career to extend gravitational theory and pursue a broader unified description of fundamental physics.
