Provenance and Authentication:
According to the Letter of Authenticity (LOA) and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided by the consignor, this collectible was subjected to a forensic examination. The accompanying documentation states that the signatures were evaluated with reference to multiple characteristics, including ink deposition, material and aging characteristics, stylistic consistency, and historical context. Based on the examination described in these documents, the authentication provider concluded that the findings were consistent with the attributed signatures. The LOA and COA provided by the consignor accompany the lot.

A David Bowie-signed Pinups LP, featuring the celebrated cover portrait of Bowie alongside Twiggy. Bowie has signed prominently in black ink across the lower-right portion of the cover, adding "97" beneath his autograph. The signature is large and visually distinct against the lighter background while leaving the principal portrait unobstructed.

The accompanying vinyl retains its orange RCA Victor label identifying David Bowie and Pin-Ups, with tracks including "Rosalyn," "Here Comes the Night," "I Wish You Would," and "See Emily Play."

Released in 1973 and produced by Bowie and Ken Scott, Pinups occupies a distinctive place within Bowie's early career.
