Description
A group of two hand-carved decorative items crafted from organic materials including horn and antler. The first object is a lidded vessel or teapot intricately carved in the form of a dragon. The body features deep relief work depicting scales, flowing manes, and swirling horn structures. The spout is integrated into the dragon's open mouth, and the handle is formed by the creature's curved tail. The circular lid is topped with a smaller carved dragon finial. The material exhibits a polished cream and tan patina with darker brown accents in the recessed carvings. A white string is looped through the handle area. No maker's marks or signatures are visible on this piece. The second object is a cylindrical tankard or drinking mug fashioned from a section of hollowed horn. The exterior features a high-relief carving of a stag with large antlers standing among stylized trees. The handle is constructed from a natural section of antler, exhibiting a characteristic porous texture and a dark, polished cap at the top.Measurements/notes: 2 pieces; first 7 in. H x 6 in. W; second 2 in. H x 6.5 in. W.
