Ronald C. Jones autographed “New York Always Loved John F. Kennedy” memorial cover in blue ink, adding the designation “MD.” The cachet features an image of President and Mrs. Kennedy during a New York motorcade appearance. Postmarked November 22, 1964, in New York, New York, with a 5¢ John F. Kennedy memorial stamp. The reverse is additionally annotated “Forest West Nyack N.Y.”

Dr. Ronald C. Jones was a medical intern at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, at the time of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination on November 22, 1963. Parkland became the center of the national tragedy as Kennedy was rushed there after being shot in Dealey Plaza. Jones was among the young physicians and medical personnel present during the frantic efforts to save the President’s life.
