We located a set of eight of these incredible chairs as a traveling group of designers in the Paris flea markets. We all thought they were so special, and everyone wanted them! So we decided to split them between the four of us and I brought home two. One has already gone to a North Carolina home. The needlepointing is original - everything about the chair is original - and the seat is horse hair. I think it's a statement piece, but it is also sturdy, comfortable and lightweight for an easy chair to pull into a group.
