Each panel: 17.75"w

Striking vintage Chinese four-panel folding screen featuring elaborate hand-painted decoration and mother-of-pearl inlay against a dramatic black lacquered ground. One side depicts an elegant continuous garden scene with figures, pagodas, flowering plants, birds, and architectural details, framed by intricate geometric borders. The reverse features beautifully rendered botanical motifs including bamboo, flowering branches, foliage, and rock formations in warm gold tones. Hinged construction allows the panels to fold and position easily as a decorative room divider, privacy screen, or statement wall accent. A richly detailed piece bringing classic Chinoiserie character and visual drama to an interior.
