Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts a scenic history courtyard in the medieval hill town of San Gimignano, Italy. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1970.
The sheet measures approximately 16.1/4''X 11.3/4''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with overall good presentation. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch's mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
