Catal Huyuk, Turkey, Ca 7000 BCE. 9000 year old flaked obsidian blade from the largest and best-preserved Neolithic site found to date. Catal Huyuk, or Catal Hoyuk, is located in southern Anatolia and flourished for almost 2000 years. In 2012 the site was established as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site.
