(Iwerks Studio, 1930) Extremely rare original production drawing featuring “Flip the Frog” from Ub Iwerks’ Fiddlesticks. Lured away from the Disney Studio in 1930, and backed by Disney rival Pat Powers, Iwerks opened his own studio in early 1930. “Flip The Frog” was his first new character design, and Fiddlesticks was the first cartoon to come out of the fledgling studio. The untrimmed animation paper measures 9.5 x 12 in. Flip measures 3 x 3 in. In very fine condition.
