FRENCH GILT PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF 41, comprising seven 9 3/8" soup plates, ten 8 7/16" plates, eleven 9 9/16" plates, one footed, oval tureen with attached underplate, two shell-shaped dishes, six oval platters of varying sizes, 1 oval serving dish, 1 large footed covered tureen, 1 circular covered vegetable dish, and one low footed covered tureen; all having a light blue rim with foliate design outlined in gilding, and central polychrome enamel floral designs. Various initials and numbers on many pieces, but no consistent maker's mark. Likely Limoges Porcelain, Paris, France. Second quarter 19th century. Largest tureen 12" H.
Thirty pieces undamaged with expected wear to gilding, remainder having minor to moderate imperfections and damage including hairline cracks, flakes, and chips.
