Gorham (American (Rhode Island), founded 1831), circa 1897. A group of three sterling and American brilliant period cut glass table articles comprising two pitchers and one vase. The tall pitcher with sterling spout and collar decorated with naturalistic design of vinery and grapes over a notched prism or zipper pattern; the medium size pitcher with sterling spout and collar monogrammed with the letter "S" and with C-scroll and floral designs over a notched miters or zipper and punties pattern; and a vase having a sterling scalloped mouth engraved with "1873" and "1898" centered with monogrammed letter "S" over a notched miters or zipper pattern. The sterling mounts all hallmarked for Gorham, "STERLING" and the trident date code for 1897. The tall pitcher also numbered "S2986". The medium pitcher numbered "S3031" and the vase "S2981" further stamped for retailer "CHARLES W CRANKSHAW". Approximate height of tall pitcher 11.25" (bottom of spout). Approximate height of medium pitcher 9" (bottom of spout). Approximate height of vase 6.37".

Condition

All with scattered minor flea bites observed under loop. Very minor pitting to mounted sterling. The vase with a couple of very small chips to edge of base. Tall pitcher with internal dirt in base and small ding/split at mouth/spout rim (see image #5)..
