Wonderful R&W Wilson Coin Silver Coffee Pot. Made by the premier silver maker R&W Wilson of Philadelphia, Pa. They were doing business 1825-1846. Their work is found in collections such as the Smithstonian, Wintherhur, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts. This rare teapot has a very ornate design. Floral patter throughout. Has original heat stop inserts in handle. Very rare Chinaman finial on top. Has monogram LVL on one side. A wonderful example of some of the finest works every done by R&W Wilson. A true Museum quality piece. 37.65 troy ounces. 10 1/2" Tall. Excellent
