Fr. MD-108. Exceedingly rare, virtually impossible to locate, June 8, 1780 Maryland “BLACK MONEY” note, specially in this high quality. This impressive Revolutionary War issued note is perfectly centered on both its face and back having clear even margins on all sides. Holder states apparent lower right corner replaced, restorations. There is only light even circulation, the face side being particularly crisp and clean in appearance with some light conservation to the reverse. Full rich brown signatures of John Callahan and Nicholas Harwood. Missing in even the most advanced Colonial Maryland currency collections. Amongst the very Finest Known.
