Description
Pre-HistoricAmazing, black-on-white bowl with many geometric symbols plus a pair of negative, linear imaginative fish figures having scroll units projecting from the head, a dorsal fin and five underbody fins, the body decorated with interlocking scrolls and wavy lines. Very good condition, no kill hole. (#106 in the Baca book) 4-3/4" x 10-11-1/2"**Lots #151-180 and #651-680 are all (with a few exceptions) listed and pictured in the 1980 book "Mimbres Indian Treasure in the Land of Baca" and were collected by Roy and Merle Evans, on their private land, from the 1940s through the 1970s.
