A gold ring in the form of two snakes, the bodies forming the shank; interlaced to the centre forming a Hercules Knot motif with oval setting with granule decoration to the edge and cabochon garnet to the centre; tails forming a series of loops to the edge. 8.01 grams, 18.85mm overall, 14.30mm internal diameter (approximate size British G, USA 3 1/4, Europe 4.92, Japan 5) (3/4"). From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980.


Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
