This lot consists of a HAND DRAWN charcoal illustration on paper, signed "Vincent" at lower left. Image depicts a peasant woman carrying a large bundle of wheat under one arm. Her sleeves are rolled up from a day's labor. Piece is done in the Impressionistic Style of Vincent van Gogh (Dutch, 1853 - 1890). This piece is an interpretation of Vincent van Gogh's 1885 work, "Peasant Woman, Carrying a Sheath of Grain". En verso, a small stamp reads "? Gabriel, Paris" and unidentifiable initials in pencil and the number 27. Measures approximately 11.5" x 8.5".
