In 1948, Glen Ford shot the first film in what is referred to as the "Western Trilogy" that included "Fort Apache" (1948), "She Wore A Yellow Ribbon" (1949) and "Rio Grande" (1950). This is a replica of the Civil War era Medal of Honor and can be seen in the movie stills of "Fort Apache". Both John Wayne and Ward Bond wore the medal. Overall condition is excellent, though it is missing one hanging ring.Condition:Dimensions: CORRECTION: John Ford directed Fort Apache.
