FOLK ART CARVED AND PAINTED "OHIO" STEAMSHIP MODEL, with three applied metal tags embossed "OHIO", possibly after the "SS Ohio" built in 1872, a Pennsylvania class liner, with six lifeboats, the whole applied to a painted-pine board. Retains an old painted surface. First half 20th century. 15 3/4" H, 20" W, 6 1/2" D.
Very good overall condition, patriotic flag detached but present, minor areas of paint loss and old repairs, and possible areas of paint restoration.
