BRUCE HORNE (ILLINOIS) FOLK ART FRAKTUR, LOT OF THREE, watercolor, comprising a bird perched on flowers, signed on the back "Bruce Horne / No. 31 1996", and one depicting "Lady Wshingto" and "General Geo. Washington" and dated "1797" in a heart, signed on the back "Bruce Horne / No. 69 / 1997", and a leaping stag, signed on the back "Bruce Horne / No. 37 1996". Each framed under glass in a contemporary paint-decorated frame. 20th century. 4 1/2" x 7 1/4" sight, 7 1/2" x 10 1/4" OA and 8 1/4" x 10" sight, 11 1/2" x 13 1/2" OA.
Very good overall visual condition. Not examined outside of frames.
Provenance: The Jack and Tommie Marsh collection, Columbia, SC.
Catalogue Note: Bruce Horne is also a contemporary make of fine 18th century powder horns and accoutrements.
