Chinese (20th century). A deep relief carved wood brush pot with two phoenix reliefs, a peacock, two deer and a large floral and figural motif scene. The bottom features a six character mark. Approx. h. 7", dia. 5.25".

Several parts of wood relief have loss, cracks to rim and foot surfaces and warping to bottom from exposure to liquid.
