The elephant takes a submissive posture as the smiling boy wipes down the tough hide. The young boy standing in the foreground is holding a pot that contains Lingzhi Fungus. The Elephant is the last of the four Animals of Supremacy and Energy. It represents strength, sagacity, and carefulness. Excellent craftsmanship is evident in the fine details. Nephrite has mottled appearance with scattered inclusions along with a beautiful transparent milk-white tone. Elegantly presented upon a yellow silk covered hard cushion stand. Exquisite Large Chinese Qing Dynasty era Jade brush pot inscribed with an intricate motif, on golden silk covered stand. Elegant jade vessel, with very fine relief encircling the entire outer surface. Highly polished stone, showing a pale celadon hue. Relatively Uniform milky coloration with a tinge of variation in hue. Translucent properties are present as light strikes the unblemished basin. Brilliant luster with very precise craftmanship throughout. Silky and flawless to the touch with highly polished interior.
