Additional Information: This is an original unique work by Andy Warhol (not a print).
It was realised circa1954.
It is stamped verso by the estate of Andy Warhol and the Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board, Inc. and numbered on the reserve "235.007".

By the Beautiful Sea is a musical with a book by Herbert Fields and Dorothy Fields, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and music by Arthur Schwartz.
Starring Shirley Booth (as Lottie Gibson) and Mae Barnes (as Ruby Monk) , the musical is set in Brooklyn just after the start of the 20th century (1907). By the Beautiful Sea played on Broadway in 1954.
Provenance: Estate of Andy Warhol.
This work is recorded in the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. It will also be included in the future Andy Warhol Catalogue Raisonné that is currently being compiled by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
Condition: Good condition. The sheet supported with Japan paper. Skillfully repaired tears in the left, lower and right margins. Paper losses in all margins. The sheet is toned.
