Freddy Krueger glove template from A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child. (New Line, 1989) Original working master templates and leather glove used to make all the gloves from Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child. Created by special effects crew member, Ryan Effner, the glove templates are created of brass, cardboard and painted balsa wood blades. The glove is the prototype used to get an accurate length and size for the brass finger fittings. The glove is handwritten inside, "original prototype" with circles drawn on the fingers where they were cutout. Displayed in a custom-made frame with laser cut mat recreating the title are in Freddy's distinctive red and green sweater colors. Measures 22 in. x 34 ½ in.
