A Chontal Mask Guerrero, Mexico, c. 300-100 BC Speckled light blue-green stone in form of a human head with deeply pecked concave eyes and mouth which would have held inlay, a triangular nose in low relief, and raised eyebrows. Perforated at top for attachment. The back with raised sides. In very good condition, scattered encrusted mineral deposits on the face. Custom metal stand.
