Jerry Weintraub, American film and television producer, music manager, actor and philanthropist, is one of the most celebrated names in the entertainment business. Weintraub?s extraordinary rise to Hollywood icon began as a talent agent, personal manager and concert promoter, where he became a self-made millionaire at 26 handling some of the biggest acts in show business from Elvis Presley to Frank Sinatra and discovering John Denver, before finding even greater success in the television and movie industry. Weintraub?s crowning film achievements included producing classics and modern hits such as Robert Altman?s Nashville, Oh, God!
