despite many left phone calls and emails the ONLY reason I ever got the items was that someone there dialed me as a wrong number (expecting someone else). Also have ended up overpaying for shipping (ended up paying both UPS and Dianni).

There were a number of charges on the initial invoice that I had to contact the auction house to correct. All of them were fairly small, but the fact that they were on the invoice and had to be disputed at all left me feeling distrustful of the accuracy with which they operate. Then, their in-house shipping service charges a non-refundable $25 fee, regardless of overall shipping costs. That $25 fee was more than the cost of the lot I won, including the buyer's premium. I did not appreciate the manner in which they handled the payment or shipping process and will not be doing business with them again.

They explained that the shipping department would quote a rate after the item was paid for. I sent a check for that amount and it was cashed weeks ago. I've sent several emails asking when the item would be given to the in-house shipper and have not received any replies. I am still hopeful to get an answer so I can pay for this second part and get the item. I hope your office can intervene and spur a response from them. Thank you in advance, Bob

description of my purchase was slightly incorrect-ring sizing was wrong so now i have an additional expense of getting it sized-also ring arrived not very clean.

The dimension listed for the painting I bought were for the framed piece, not the canvas itself. The description led me to believe that the work was bigger than it is. The house's online payment system was less than ideal. Buyers were made to wait 10 days before works could be picked up and in every single purchase I've made at other houses one could pay for and pick up work immediately.

I would like to see more detailed descriptions of items and condition. Photos are great but they do not necessarily provide a whole picture of the condition.

Louis J. Dianni's operation is a ripoff. I won an auction for three silver gelatin photographs and received the package only to find that only one of the photographs was silver gelatin. No response from the auction house asking for a refund.

They did not describe item properly. Omitted mentioning the damage properly. Also was captive to their in house shipping and handling. Paying 45.00 for a 150. Purchase.

Shipping information was not provided until 3 weeks after I had paid for the lot. This poor level of after-sale service is not appropriate for an auction house selling to on line bidders.

This has been most negative experience on live auctioneers so far. I paid for item promptly, but even after two email requests, they still have not removed the item from my shopping cart. Very slow to ship, shipping only after I inquired when possible date was. Ups store used was very exoensive in my opinion. This purchase took longest for payment to clear and for item to ship. Still waiting for item to be removed from shopping cart by auctioneer.

The quote for shipping was over $90 for a 5 "tall vase. They then revised that quote to about $40. I asked if I could have someone pick up the item and if so what address they could pick it up and I received no response. I have paid for the item but have no response to my question about shipping alternative. It has been at least three weeks since I sent my last email. Hence my negative assessment above. This was my first experience purchasing something from your auction site-not sure I'll try again.

I was not able to pay for shipping charges after i paid for the item for a week. They did not know how to take my payment over the phone and forced me into their broken checkout system. Unacceptable.

Getting payment made through the website was difficult and frustrating. Sometimes this was actually caused by the links provided in emails directing me to pay charges; I did better when simply entering the site through the home page. This caused delays; I'm still waiting to receive goods but I think that everything will be OK now.

Commission was overstated by USD 750 and had the wrong % for wire transfer; transportation fee was overstated by USD 4000. These mistakes were corrected after I contacted the auctioneer. Shipping is to the wrong address although this was mentioned twice before quoting. When I noticed that the shipping address I notified the auction company they mentioned that they contacted Fedex and all is ok, delivery in Hong Kong planned on 13 June. In fact it was not, it is stuck in customs in Shanghai. I am still waiting to receive the package. I will never do business with this company again. I consider further action against them. Given the gross negligence so far, if any further issue happens or the item is damaged during transportation; I want to undo the full transaction and get a full refund. Best regards, Hans

I purchased this item a week ago and I am still waiting on it this being June 13, 2016. The auction house had all sorts of fees and shipping out the item is too long I really would not like to deal with these folks again! I still have not received the item yet to really give a rating on the merchandise!!!

There was damage to the item (missing threading and small chip) that were not noted in the description or photographed. The auction company was difficult to reach in order to pay for the item. They were difficult to communicate with regards to shipping. Unanswered phones, failure to return messages in a timely manner, and slow to answer emails. The costs they charged for shipping were originally given at 4 times the actual cost of shipping and when questioned they reduced it to 3 times actual cost. When pressed on the matter more, they reduced their charges to twice actual shipping. I know this because they provided weight and package dimensions in the listing which then were easy to plug into USPS and FedEx to calculate actual costs. We will think very hard about further purchases from this venue.

I purchased items. Paid for them as instructed and have been unable to get anyone from the auction house to respond to me on shipping. I have paid their invoice over 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive any communication, despite repeated phone calls, always going to a voice system which only allows voice mail. My perception so far is that I have paid close to $400.00 for items I may likely never ever receive.

Louis Dianni is a crook. He lies. He cheats. He steals. He stole from me and a quick google search will confirm that he has stolen from others. I have communicated my story to several Live Auctioneers support members and am hoping that there will be serious consequences for his behavior. Thank you.

I paid for the item and for the shipping immediately. After 1 month of not receiving the item I emailed them several times. I got an authomatic answer tell me that it will take 2 to 4 weeks for delivery and they never try to reach me. After more than 2 months I try to call shipping. Automatic answer machine, when trying to have an operator nobody was there. I than try to call payment and here I was able to have someone at last (Dianni?). 1st starting to say that they had no records on me buying something this year... Than realizing that yes it was this year (February). After looking for my item they just told me that it is lost and that they will reimburse me. Will see if I ever receive something from them. Should not they have tell me this earlier? A bit crazy. Is there a scam going on here? 1st and last time I'm dealing with company

Item damaged by auction house after sale but before pick up. Shipper had to wait to pick up while they did a poor repair and sent on without telling me they had damaged it. Find out after the fact that in house shipping means they put it out to bid and then more than significantly up charge on it. Only auction house that charges a 3 % live auction fee that I have experienced. $200 shipping plus a small fe of $25 or less upcharged to # 722.50. Criminal and fraudulent. Will never do business with them again. You should expel them-

This is the ONLY auction house that refuses to take phone calls and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED my merchandise. They will not even tell me when it will be shipped. It has been weeks and all they finally did was email me that in another week I will have the estimate of shipping. I would never buy anything ever again from them. I hope that when it finally comes it is ok. highly suspect behavior

I have been unable to reach this auction house. I sent them a question about the yellow diamond ring because a jeweler told me that there is no way a yellow diamond would sell for $1300.00. I have yet to receive a response for the auction house. I have sent them three message on the Live Auctioneer website and I have called the at least three times. I called them on March 7, 2016 at 12:23 pm. I called them on March 11, 2016 at 5:19 pm, I called them on at 11:52 am and the phone rang over 30 times and no one answered. I am very weary to send money to them without talking to them. When I initially looked at the ring, I did not see any reference to a large inclusion. After I won the ring a saw the note. I could not tell anything by the pictures. I do not have a problem with paying for the bracelet once I talk to them. I will pay for the ring if they can provide an appraisal or I can return it if does not appraise higher than the bid. I am so sorry I have had problems on your site. I never have a problem on the Invaluable website. I have purchased jewelry, furniture, art, clothes and more with no problems.

One: I still have not received my order. Two: they wanted to add an additional 3 % if using a credit card-I have never experienced this with any other auction house, so had to send a check. Three: when I FINALLY was able to speak with someone, I was told he shipping was going to be $25, now they sent me an email that it is $29. Four: they are impossible to get ahold of by phone. Five: I will NEVER do business with them again!!
