4 pieces had cracks, 2 pieces were not Shelley. Poorly described and condition not provided.
I don't know if they are having personal problems, but I would steer clear for now. Very disorganized and poor responsiveness. Make sure to get complete detailed condition report before bidding.

No Mention/Photograph of Cond
Extremely disappointed in making a purchase of a 38 pound copper pot where no mention or photographs were made where the brass handles had been removed and moved up three inches, leaving 6 repaired holes on the side. Nor was any mention or photographs made of a 12 inch long circular brass solder repair made on the bottom of the pot. If these disclosures were made in the auction, my purchase price would have been much less due to it's condition issue.

Tom Bruhns is THE BEST!!! When LiveAuctioneers 'so-called Shipping Specialists (LOL!) failed utterly in their communications with me and with the auction house, I had to contact Bruhns. Tom couldn't have been more respectful, helpful, and equally concerned about my lot. Where LAShipping just couldn't get it together and bumbled along with whatever the hell they were doing in coordinating shipping of my lot, Tom assured me that this gorgeous statue was safe and "still in fine shape." I will always be grateful to Tom for safeguarding this piece and being SO INCREDIBLY PATIENT about the lot remaining at his building for six weeks !!!) while LAShipping dropped the proverbial ball even though I paid my invoice in full, including "shipping." But, enough of that issue. Here's the more important story behind this lot. I tried to win this piece in the summer when it first appeared but, alas, my bid lost. But this time around, two weeks before Thanksgiving, I was successful! I have a home full of antique religious carvings and this one has now become the most beautiful and best preserved of my 18th century pieces. I could not be more ecstatic to have won, and I'm thrilled that the piece is now standing in a place of honor in my office. The statue looks exactly the same as the photos provided by Bruhns Auction Gallery. And I'm so relieved, utterly relieved that the brilliantly carved and painted Saint Jan Nepomuck ý has made it home.

Bruhns Auction Gallery was great to work with both before and after the auction. They answered condition questions about the items we were interested in and speeded up the "acceptance" part of our registration for the next day's auction. Post-auction the item we purchased was wrapped very carefully, arriving at our home via UPS (actual shipping cost was charged) safe and on time. We'd work with Bruhns Auction Gallery again happily.

Poor Communication & Pickup Experience
After I paid my invoice for lots won lots, Bruhn's did not have any communication with me about when or where to pick up the items from the auction. They did not reply to my e-mail and I finally phoned them after several days, on a Thursday, and they informed me the pickup was going on all week. I communicated my name and lots won and told them I would be there on Friday during the hours "he thought he would be there." When I arrived on that next day, he could not locate my lots, so checked his paperwork (nothing was computerized) and concluded that my lots had been moved to their third party shipping company, which was located another ten miles away. Despite my account having a local address, he forwarded the items to a shipper. Fortunately, when I arrived at the packaging & shipping company, my order was still there and I was able to pick the items up, after a waste of time and frustration.

Don't buy from this auctioneer
Won item charged my card within hours even before I got notice to pay within 48hrs after my card charged. Then got a call with an enormous shipping charge for their friend to drop off while on vacation. Finally agreed to a charge then got another call that item not coming and I offered to handle shipping and NEVER heard from auctioneer again. Had to file a CC dispute to get my money back. Then I find out sellers feedback about 50/50!. You have been warned. I'm sure they don't care about this feedback either.

They will lie to you about condition, they may give you a refund minus the shipping.
Dishonest sellers, they will lie to achieve a sale. You will be out money if you deal with these people. I am out $200.00 and they dont care

Fake Roseville Sold and Description Wrong on Van Briggle
This auctioneer was contacted before sale ended that they had misquoted name on auction item and they did not correct it. When I received my Roseville piece I could immediately tell that my purchased item was a fake. I called the auctioneer and told him. He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me. He never contacted me and I left him 5 different messages to no avail. The Van Briggle I purchased had a scratch on one side that was not photographed. Poor customer service. I believe the auctioneer did not know what he was doing.

condition reports are not accurate
I wrote to the auction in advance asking for a condition report, which came back to me in one word "excellent". So I wrote back that I was bidding accordingly based on the condition report. When I received the piece I noticed that there is some sort of overspray around the top, strongly suggesting that the piece had some sort of restoration. I wrote this to the auction, asking what he proposed as a solution, and he did not write back to me. It is unfortunate that he has not responded as I will now mediate this matter through Live Auctions. I would not bid on other items going forward based on this experience.

This was an Estate sale Auction in Loveland and not at the Auction House in Denver.
Item owner contact and coordination for pick up in loveland was difficult, Auction house was voice messaging with call back only. I would be very careful using this Auction house again. He was not very friendly.

After Payment They Lost both Item
Having paid for the two items in my lot and after several calls they tell me that they have lost both items! Very Strange. Be cautious with this auction house! They did refund my credit card timely. A giant waist of my time.

MAKE SURE YOU CALL FOR A FULL DESCRIPTION
Won 2 lots-1st was 3 "pickle castors" There were only 2 pickle complete castors and 1 tumbler masquerading as a castor insert. Neither of the other 2 inserts fit in the frames correctly and 1 lid would not fit correctly on either insert. Pictures made them look great! In the other lot, there was a miniature oil lamp which made the lot worth a bid-wish they had described that the top half had been cracked and glued together, but not a word. Outside shipper originally quoted me $162 to ship items to me. Told him to throw them away as i was not paying that amount. He then reduced the price to $102, which I wish, after getting the stuff, I had stuck to my original statement and had him just throw the stuff away. They got me once-never again!

Horrible. Purchased an item and no once returns calls or is releasing the item. It is as if they have disappeared.

Tom Bruhn, in my opinion, is a criminal who manipulated Liveauctioneers auction platform in order to extract thousands of additional dollars for his and Eron Johnson Antiques benefit. Furthermore Liveauctioneers who profited from this ingenious gaming failed to respond to many communications concerning this case. A RICO investigation is being pursued by our counsel.

No, but I would like an easier way to determine auctions that are local. I’m not certain of the specifics, but it seemed cumbersome to find auctions in the area-and not be redirected to auctions out of state.

Tom Bruhns auction send me merchandise which had obvious damages and was covered up with a plastic coating. I already sent them and Live auctioneers pictures and emails and he will not respond to me.

Item was not as described. Inside of the top of the box is totally damaged and covered up with a clear plastic coating. Bruhns does not respond to my email and when I try to telephone them the phone rings once and cuts off or doesn't ring at all. This has been a horrible experience especially since I paid him $14, 520 and he doesn't even respond. I hope someone at live auctioneers will help. I did send an email with pictures, etc to ********** Thanking you in advance for any assistance that you can give me. This auction house should not be allowed to sell on any sight.
