I purchased a vehicle, a small travel. From front to back were they professionals! Super nice staff with a vast knowledge of art, antiques.. and a lot. and they auction a ton of items very often, at least twice a month.

I am so disappointed that they did not flag all the flaws in the dish ware. Only ONE chip was called out on a bowl and there are many, many chips and cracks throughout. It was superbly packed, so I know it didn’t come from the shipping. The most disappointing is that the pitcher has a crack running all the way through it and is virtually unuseable or even re-sellable. The on the listing was taken from the “good side” and the crack – which is major – was not called out.

Extremely regret bidding on 2 paintings I wanted from this sale. John, the person I spoke with at Dutch Auction Sales, was extremely unhelpful and rude and proceeded to say they were too busy to get to my shipment, and advised they would need an additional 2 weeks or so of wait time (when I've already waited for 2 + weeks for a response from him and from winning time + date) will be my wait time until he could get to "it". His tone was extremely dismissive and unnecessary as well as snappy. Be aware of this auction house and John. I believe he was this way because the items I won were not as high as others however everyone in the * service business * should know not to ever discriminate buyers as you never know who can spend high amounts on purchases.

I went down to the auction house to look at the furniture set. Despite setting up a phone bid, they never called me. It's a good thing that I was home at the time and was able to bid through Live Auctioneers. When I went to pick up the furniture set, they couldn't find it. After I showed them a picture of the set, they found it. The furniture was sitting on its side. The person who helped me carry the furniture to the van dragged it rather than carry it, causing damage to the furniture. The women who work there are friendly. But it is very hard to ignore the Trump signs everywhere. Hint: If you are going to do business with the public, it's best not to have political signs in your place of business. Dutch needs to step up it's game. Compared to the two other large auction houses nearby, South Jersey Auction and S & S Auction, it does not fare well.
