We purchased this “Oil Lamp” we picked it up all the pieces and parts were wrapped up and we did not unwrap to check it over because we assumed it was as listed on the auction page. When we brought it home and unwrapped it we found it out it has been electrified. I called right away and they said to bring it back for a refund. They “sounded surprised” that it was electrified yet they had to have seen that when they took pictures of it and wrapped it up for shipping or in our case pick up. When it was listed the pictures did not show that a hole was drilled into the lamp frame and the glass font. Also it was brazed at the base of the burner to the font. So needless to say we spent a lot of money on gas going to get it and then having to return it. I don’t plan of buying from this auction company again and we have learned to INSPECT everything before we make any kind of a purchase from now on!!!

The items were as described. Shipping and packing were of the highest quality. Very satisfied.

No Trust title comes from the fact that the true accurate condition of the glass was not mentioned. Of the 20 stems, 8 were unsaleable with chips flakes and two items were received broken. So many people now buy on line, it is important for an auction house to establish trust which is done with full disclosure of condition. Even the shipper thought enough of their customer to call me and let me know there were condition problems with the items in my lot. For the customer at that point there is no recourse except to pay and remove the auction house from your list of safe professional places to buy.

Ive participated in several online auctions, and am in the process of finding auction houses that are good to work with. This is a good one. All items were ready to go when I arrived for my pickup appointment. The payment process was uncomplicated. When I called, they returned my call fairly quickly. Very happy with the experience. Hope their prices dont get too high, but it goes with a good reputation.

I adore the staff; especially when they help me load my purchases! Smile! The site of the auction house is amazing. So beautiful are the grounds and buildings.
