This lot is an example of dissatisfaction from not confirming the description as accurate. This houses were not miniature. They were 5-7 "in height. They were not cardboard and wood, but rather straw or possible bamboo. I don't want these and will dispose of them. I should have confirmed description. Lesson learned.

I purchased the Sig Sauer P320 handgun with winning bid of $350 + auction fee, and I was very surprised when shipping charges were more than 40 % of the bid price, $145. I was told that that auction is using only UPS overnight shipping for firearms in accordance with UPS policy. Other, much more affordable services are not used due to auction's inconvenience. This shipping cost makes a total price of the winning item too in comparison with buying a similar new item from most online stores. I am buying a lots of firearms from different auctions, and never had such shipping charges.

I return for their auctions because I have beens very pleased with the quality of their antique dolls, accurate descriptions and personal service. It is always taking a chance in buying an antique doll on an online auction without being able to inspect the doll, but I have found with this auction they examine each doll carefully and give full descriptions of things that matter. They have a staff with knowledge about antique dolls. I always come back when they have a doll auction.

Stay away from this auction house! There are missing parts on the gun and outrageously excessive shipping charges on top of that. This is a repeating trend for them, just horrible! Very dishonest people to deal with.

Another fun auction experience with Apple Tree Auction Center! Very professional auction company and very entertaining auctioneers! Apple Tree live streams (broadcasts?-whatever the correct term is) the auction, so you can watch it live, and join the bidding excitement, which adds so much to the whole experience. Their in-house shipping is another plus; their packing is excellent, and the shipping and handling cost is very reasonable. My items have always arrived looking just like they did in the photos. I'm looking forward to their next auction.

Was my first time purchasing from this auction house, and I wanted the Pickard pitcher, but since the price was so reasonable I went ahead and bought the lot. Turns out the second item in the lot is signed by the artist and I can attribute it to another Chicago studio, so it turned out to be a good investment. The auction house was easy to work with and the shipment arrived sooner than I expected. Thank you!

The auctioneers were very good and great fun to listen to. Apple Tree offers in house shipping, which I think is always a plus for the buyer. They know exactly how to pack an antique doll, and she arrived just like she left their gallery-beautiful and undamaged! The packing/shipping cost was very reasonable, too. I'm looking forward to another auction with Apple Tree Auction.

I strongly recommend avoiding this auctioneer. They sold me a pocketwatch where even a cursory examination would show that it doesn't work. The stem will not set the time. If you let the watch run for even five minutes you can see it doesn't keep time. They examined this watch in detail to write the listing, so they had to know these basic facts. Hiding behind legalese like "We have endeavored to describe all items to the best of our ability-however THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY. All items are SOLD AS IS. Personal inspection is recommended and welcomed during preview and any time before item is sold," is disingenuous when the condition facts are so easily determined. It is like the tobacco companies saying, "We had no idea our product causes cancer, but we put this warning on every pack so we are off the hook now."

I have paid for my two items, but it has been two weeks and I despite several attempts to contact them I have not yet heard anything about shipment.
