Very easy and smooth sale

From start to finish a truly wonderful experience! Picked up our item at the auction house and was greeted by John Morphy who completed our transaction and made arrangements to have two gentlemen assist us in loading it into our van for the trip home. Everyone we spoke to on the phone or in person was friendly, professional and very helpful. The process of bidding on items featured on Dan Morphy Auctions is very simple and easy to use. I have requested notification for items of interest to me, and this notification is well in advance of the auction. I bid on line and the lot being offered and the status of the bidding are easy to follow. I bid prior to the auction, but also participated on line during the auction. Initially, I was afraid it would be too fast for me to follow, but that was not the case. The item I won was obtained during the live, on line portion of the auction. The payment methods are varied, which allows a wide range of options. The shipping occurred very quickly after the payment check cleared the band, and delivery was without any problems. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I was able to bid and purchase a very rare item that would be difficult to find and buy by any other means. In this process, I have developed a very positive opinion of Dan Morphy Auctions and have great confidence and trust in their organization.

My items were packed well and shipped quickly. This is my second auction with them and will continue to use them as my preferred auction house. Excellent Service!

Unique items you cant get elsewhere

I’ve bought from Murphy before and that’s why I came back. They answer questions and items are as described. They do a phenomenal job with pack and shipping. My items were totally protected. Always a concern with shipping glass framed items. Not with Morphy’s. The glass framed calendar was so well packed I really don’t know how it could have been damaged. Nice. I used the link provided by Dan Morphy Auctions to upload my FFL info. After 2 weeks of waiting for my tracking number, I contacted them to see if they had received my information. They informed me that my file did not upload so they could not process my shipping until they received my FFL info. I sent it to them via email and my item was shipped approximately 5 days later. My issue with their process is that they knew my file did not upload properly, but did not reach out to me and inform me of this issue, I had to contact them to find out what was holding up the shipping. The item was bought and paid for on 3/17/22, FFL info was provided in 3/18/22 and I did not receive my item until 04/11/22.

Christmas and New Years came into play, but still extremely slow shipping. Had to contact additional times. very happy with item but wondering what happened with shipping.

The 28 % buyer fee is hard to swallow and you just need to be patient for shipping because it took 4-5 weeks to receive my items. Bright side is they always answer their phones to work with you,

I won two firearms in December 15th auction. Paid within 24 hours. Had my local FFL send them the required documentaion, however Morphy has stated that there is a 14 day shipment time (14 business days, not calendar), and they were closed for Christmas and New Years breaks. And I've called three times since then, and they are saying they are backed up in shipping. So it's been over a month since payment and still nothing shipped. What do you think if I held out paying for a month, they would certainly take legal action as in their policy. What's my recourse? How about a refund of shipping costs, and a complimentary upgrade to next day or two day shipping Morphy? That's what any other decent seller would do.

Their bidding is a little different then others. They have a floor wins all ties. Once explain to me I understood better. Packaged items very nice. Very nice people to deal and work with.

Beautiful Piece

Auction was 12/17/2021 and I still do not have my gun as of 1/8/2022 and all they can tell me is that the order is being processed. Good luck with the online customer support if relying on the exchange of emails to figure out when your gun is ACTUALLY coming. Best to call and the number and speak to someone on the phone but even then, they cant tell you when it will ship. If you want to know exactly when your item will ship, don't hold your breath. 7-14 days after paid invoice was what I was FINALLY told when speaking by phone. The emails were only stating that "tracking information would be provided when shipped". Yeah, I get it... but WHEN... answer was... "tracking information would be provided when shipped". 3 emails... 3 of the same responses. Automated??? maybe. Look for another auction house. My first experience with these Dan Morphy Auctions has definitely been a bad one.

Poor customer service, doesn't respond to emails and I STILL have not received my item nearly a month after the auction has completed. I would expect more from an auction house that charges a 28 % buyers premium. I will not be purchasing from this auction house again.

I have always received quality items, quickly shipped and nuclear bomb proof packing!
