Always a pleasure to buy to this reliable Auction House. However the payment online generates bugs after bugs. But globaly a smooth transaction & Excellent follow up And their shipping company really assume the work with a perfect packaging and fast delivery.

I look forward to future auctions with Dan Morphy auctions. They are great to deal with Quality of items, payment and shipping were A +.

I paid immediately upon receiving the final invoice, but after 3 weeks I called to check on status of shipment. They said shipment was on hold because I owed more money. They had not however notified me of any problem. They said they had a glitch in their system and had not charged the right amount. So they held my near $2k and had no intention of telling me. You would think that when I called and they admitted to having messed up, they would have waived the small amount extra "due". When I asked to speak with the owner, the customer service rep said "he does not take customer calls" How arrogant and unorganized can you be? I know this auction house is established and has been around a while, but maybe that is the problem. Who knows when I will get the item I paid for on Dec 6th that was supposed to be a Christmas gift? Maybe early January if I'm lucky.

Probably one of the best Auction Team ever. Always an amazing selection of collectibles and a 100 % Pro team to assume the follow up. I don't buy much from Morphy's primarily due to the high prices they realize. Good for them. The downside for buyers like me is by the time you add shipping, insurance, a 28 % buyers premium and the surprise "handling fee", I paid 37 % over my bid. Good place I guess if price is no object, but that doesn't fit me.

5-stars all around, very happy with the final result. Items were well presented and described. Packing/Shipping was some of the best-fragile items carefully handled, obvious concern for potential damage en route. The ONLY thing I would suggest is additional close up photos of any item's "problem" areas.

I purchased several lots and all of them were packed and shipped very well. Only one machine had a crack in glass when it arrived and Morphys adjusted my invoice to compensate. Very satisfied. Thank you!

The Sara Sax Rookwood bowl I purchased was described by Morphy as "near mint." The bowl arrived with an uncalled hairline spider crack at its lip. Morphy refused to accept its return for a refund, stating that I should have seen the damage in their posted photos. They also argued that the damage did not warrant a return as it did not greatly affect the value of the piece, in their opinion. There are many honorable auction houses you might wish to work with. This would not be one of them.

One bid was great the other has a glitch I bid $400 and it said I bid $650 I called when it happened and girl said don't worry about it we will get back to you after the auction! I called 3 times and finally they called back after a week only to say I owed the $650 and I told them I would not pay that. I have bought over $10000.00 in auction in the past three months. And I have seen several glitches in the system but it's never been a problem till now. I will never bid with this group again.

The train set was described as "Restored" upon receiving the "Blue Comet" the engine would reverse, the pon connecting engine and tender was missing, whistle in tender missing, one coupler pin was laying in packing, the Observation Coach was missing the 3rd axle wheel set. Based on these flaws, I can honestly say this is an unrestored item. Which is now at Joe's Train Station in Hatboro, PA to make the needed repairs. Needless to say, but wil say I'm totally displeased with the inaccurate description Morphy's auction posted as being a restored trsin set when clearly it was not. This will now cost me well over a hundred to rectify it. Mike

An unusual item and was well pleased to have it at a fair price. I do think may of the houses are charging too much in the way of fees.

I have had occasion to purchase from Morphy now for a second time. Items fairly described. I do Feel the buyers premium was too high. I suppose in general this is getting out of hand at most houses. Suggest buyers really think this over.

Excellent experience in first time bidding and working with this group. Need delayed shipping? I did, and the folks were very attentive to making it all happen without a glitch.

I bib opening bid price and paid $200 over that after buyer premium, taxes and shipping. Shipping took awhile with no update until item shipped

Auction house did a awesome job. Excellent packing and very timely shipping, Overall great experience.

I won an item on Morphy auction sale through Live auctioneers site. I was told I had won, then Morphy sent me an invoice for an item I did not bid on and said the item I won had been withdrawn?? I called Morphys and was answered with rude treatment by 2 women who said they would investigate the matter. I never heard back from anyone at the auction company. Very bad!!!

These guys are great and I would work with them again anytime.
