Very nice item. Arrived well packed, I'm very appreciative of that.

Christmas and New Years came into play, but still extremely slow shipping. Had to contact additional times. very happy with item but wondering what happened with shipping.

Great items and good overall experience.

The 28 % buyer fee is hard to swallow and you just need to be patient for shipping because it took 4-5 weeks to receive my items. Bright side is they always answer their phones to work with you,

I won two firearms in December 15th auction. Paid within 24 hours. Had my local FFL send them the required documentaion, however Morphy has stated that there is a 14 day shipment time (14 business days, not calendar), and they were closed for Christmas and New Years breaks. And I've called three times since then, and they are saying they are backed up in shipping. So it's been over a month since payment and still nothing shipped. What do you think if I held out paying for a month, they would certainly take legal action as in their policy. What's my recourse? How about a refund of shipping costs, and a complimentary upgrade to next day or two day shipping Morphy? That's what any other decent seller would do.

Their bidding is a little different then others. They have a floor wins all ties. Once explain to me I understood better. Packaged items very nice. Very nice people to deal and work with.

Beautiful Piece

Auction was 12/17/2021 and I still do not have my gun as of 1/8/2022 and all they can tell me is that the order is being processed. Good luck with the online customer support if relying on the exchange of emails to figure out when your gun is ACTUALLY coming. Best to call and the number and speak to someone on the phone but even then, they cant tell you when it will ship. If you want to know exactly when your item will ship, don't hold your breath. 7-14 days after paid invoice was what I was FINALLY told when speaking by phone. The emails were only stating that "tracking information would be provided when shipped". Yeah, I get it... but WHEN... answer was... "tracking information would be provided when shipped". 3 emails... 3 of the same responses. Automated??? maybe. Look for another auction house. My first experience with these Dan Morphy Auctions has definitely been a bad one.

Poor customer service, doesn't respond to emails and I STILL have not received my item nearly a month after the auction has completed. I would expect more from an auction house that charges a 28 % buyers premium. I will not be purchasing from this auction house again.

I have always received quality items, quickly shipped and nuclear bomb proof packing!

Always a pleasure to buy to this reliable Auction House. However the payment online generates bugs after bugs. But globaly a smooth transaction & Excellent follow up And their shipping company really assume the work with a perfect packaging and fast delivery.

I paid immediately upon receiving the final invoice, but after 3 weeks I called to check on status of shipment. They said shipment was on hold because I owed more money. They had not however notified me of any problem. They said they had a glitch in their system and had not charged the right amount. So they held my near $2k and had no intention of telling me. You would think that when I called and they admitted to having messed up, they would have waived the small amount extra "due". When I asked to speak with the owner, the customer service rep said "he does not take customer calls" How arrogant and unorganized can you be? I know this auction house is established and has been around a while, but maybe that is the problem. Who knows when I will get the item I paid for on Dec 6th that was supposed to be a Christmas gift? Maybe early January if I'm lucky.

I don't buy much from Morphy's primarily due to the high prices they realize. Good for them. The downside for buyers like me is by the time you add shipping, insurance, a 28 % buyers premium and the surprise "handling fee", I paid 37 % over my bid. Good place I guess if price is no object, but that doesn't fit me.

Great business

5-stars all around, very happy with the final result. Items were well presented and described. Packing/Shipping was some of the best-fragile items carefully handled, obvious concern for potential damage en route. The ONLY thing I would suggest is additional close up photos of any item's "problem" areas.

I purchased several lots and all of them were packed and shipped very well. Only one machine had a crack in glass when it arrived and Morphys adjusted my invoice to compensate. Very satisfied. Thank you!

The Sara Sax Rookwood bowl I purchased was described by Morphy as "near mint." The bowl arrived with an uncalled hairline spider crack at its lip. Morphy refused to accept its return for a refund, stating that I should have seen the damage in their posted photos. They also argued that the damage did not warrant a return as it did not greatly affect the value of the piece, in their opinion. There are many honorable auction houses you might wish to work with. This would not be one of them.

Everything was perfect.
