Honest folks who don't pad shipping costs
Thriftiques is one of the few auction houses on LiveAuctioneers that I will patronize. So many end up charging you three or four times the value of the article you bought-for shipping. If I consider a new house, I read all their one star reviews and search for "shipping." Thriftiques is run by an honest family who are always available to help you with a purchase. In addition, the items they sell are high quality.

Outstanding Customer Service
Thriftiques of Iowa Is A Quality Auction House. Items are accurately described. Their Buyer's Premium is very reasonable and they are very responsive to questions. IN HOUSE SHIPPING with fair pricing and excellent wrapping is offered. This service, which more auction houses should try to offer, is much appreciated by buyers. I have not bid with firms that use the new Live Auctioneer Shipping program. The pre-sale quotes I received for shipping were for the most part outrageous using Live Auctioneer's shipping. Absolutely will not bid now with firms using Live Auctioneer's shipping. They created a new profit center to Live Auctioneer at the expense of losing bidders and therefore revenue from potentially higher bids. Most of the local UPS or PAK Mail stores do a good job. Again, really enjoy working with firms like Thriftique since they keep shipping costs economical for buyers. Thank you.
