I purchased a painting from Forsythes 'and they were lovely on the phone. It was easy to make a payment with my credit card. They were upfront about the painting being shipped and packed by UPS, and the UPS shop did a wonderful job and did not overcharge. Every step of the way has been excellent and I would definitely purchase an item from them again in the future.

This company has been good to work with several Times I’ve bought from them. Very nice people And efficient service. The only issue I had is my self framed tin sign arrived damaged with two big dents on it. I’m not sure Putting a self framed tin sign with a bowed out section makes sense between two cardboard pieces and packing bubbles. It was too thin and not hard for the sign to get the dents which resulted in paint loss at one of the dents as well. Fortunately the sign was not that expensive so I didn’t even bother to notify them. If it has been a thousand dollar sign or more I would have been greatly disappointed but for a couple hundred it was not worth it. Other than that this company has been decent to work with. I’d simply suggest self framed signs be packaged inside of a box with air space and not up against the outside of a box moving forward.

Very responsive

I am satisfied with the item I won, but was overcharged for in-house shipping. I called the auction house before the auction and was told shipping for the item (a 6 1/2 "vase) would be $30-$35. Then after winning the item I was charged $46.60 for shipping. I called the auction house to complain and was told by the same person" Nothing I can do about it. "When the item arrived the USPS shipping label showed that the shipping cost was $16.80. Buyer beware!

I am pleased with their auction. The billing process is very awkward for ALL of the auctions. there should a be a centralized, simple process right HERE on the site to take care of it. Simple! Otherwise, it was pretty good.

Very professional, bought something breakable, and the packaging was superb. Very happy with the entire process beginning to end with Forsythes .

It took forever for Forsythes ’ to get the two chairs to the shipper. When they finally arrived here, one had come apart. Shellack had chipped off the back of the same chair. We were very disappointed.

I have been shopping and buying on Live Auctioneers for a few years now. There are a couple of other good auctions houses but none of them compare with Forsythes 'Auctions. The customer service is the best!! They answer all questions and then they help you out with shipping which most auctions houses don't. This is a 10 STAR company. I couldn't be more pleased with my transactions with Forsythes' Auctions!!
