Be careful of condition reports.
I won a group of nine vintage metallic ribbon. I had asked for a condition report and was told they were "all in very good condition", but four of them were frayed to the point of being unuseable and one was composed of very small scraps stitched together. When I complained, there was no response.

I was more impressed with my items when I received them then I believed possible.
I bid on this set of dishes on a whim and did not have time to do research on the items. When I received them I was so impressed that I replaced my "display" porcelain with these new pieces. I consider these to be the jewel in my collection. I will be watching Susanins for more treasures regularly.

Good experience
Susanin's buyer's premium is higher than most but my experience was positive, and I would definitely consider bidding with this auction house in the future.

Accurate descriptions, expensive shipping options
Susanin's was accurate and items were well packed and shipped, although the shipping costs (through a 3rd party, not Susanin's) were VERY high. Susanin's should identify more reasonably priced shippers.
