Loved my item
Just expensive shipping. A little slow, too. I paid $400 for the item and ended up paying $700, so try to remember that when purchasing.

Online bidding process is awesome for remote buyers
I participated in an auction in 2013 with John McInnis and Liveauctioneers. I was able then to secure one of the items I wanted. I always check the emails for upcoming auctions to see if the memorabilia I am interested in is included. Finally there were several sets of items in a February 2024 auction that excited me. John McInnis does an excellent job of photographing and describing the items up for bid. This time around I took advantage of the pre-bid process which enabled me to have a better idea of how much interest there was in the item. I chose 3 lots to key on. The first one up ended up being the most expensive but also the one that meant the most to me. Fortunately, I prevailed, though it didn't leave much wiggle room on the other 2 lots. I had to let the 2nd one go when it went to $900. The third lot didn't have much interest going into the auction, so I think I actually got it for the pre-bid price I had entered. The after auction processing went smoothly. I was contacted within 24-36 hours. The only thing I didn't like this time around was that I had to make my own arrangements on shipping. They recommend two carriers and both are reputable. I ended up receiving my 2 lots (mostly papers) within 10-14 days. I liked the fact I could watch the auction on the livestreaming video they set up. It was a long day (about 7 hours), and the auction house works very hard in setting up the lots, photographing, cataloging, and finally running the actual auction. I am so thankful for the online bidding option. Otherwise I'd never have a chance to participate. I live many states away from Massachusetts.
