I would not recommend bidding on items from William George because they received my payment via credit card but it was never disclosed that you must deal with a random third party (not William George) to arrange for shipping of your item. Further, you must PAY this third party person via ONLY PayPal or direct bank account. I don’t like wiring money to someone overseas especially if the shipping costs more than I am actually paying for (my high bid) on the item given the add’l charge my bank, and most banks, charge to execute a wire. I never heard from the third party after trying to arrange for shipping after the Thanksgiving holiday when I was out of town. Very disappointed and I would never recommend doing business with William George or any other company who does not make shipping simpler and easier for bidders on their items. This is a red flag for Live Auctioneers and I would strongly suggest that you make William George aware of their practices. You shouldn’t have to pay for an item twice to two separate parties. Very bad business and fraudulent.
