About Us Shuma's Auction: A brief introduction After many years of travelling and collecting antiques in South Asia, the inspiration for the company started in Japan in 1998. In 2004, after establishing many contacts locally and overseas, we went online and our auction team then acquired expertise from Korea, Japan, Canada and the U.S.A., where we continue to travel to obtain estates and consignments. We have found many authentic Asian antiques and artifacts from local estates that are of a very high quality and are of International interest to collectors and dealers. Our intention is to bring both the seller and buyer together through our Fine Asian Works of Art auctions as well as providing appraisals and a consultation service for Museums, corporate collections and private collectors.
