Not only are we proud to have our own in-house packing and shipping department, but this order specifically was fulfilled by our in-house packing and shipping department. We quite literally shipped this parcel ourselves. The reason we don't invoice for shipping at the same time as we invoice for items is because the only way to do so would be to estimate our rates, which would increase the cost to our buyers. We charge for delivery separately to give us the time to fully and accurately package and quote our parcels so that we are only charging our bidders the true cost to us. We do not upcharge for delivery, but we also don't control postage rates, $90 for international shipping from the United States to Germany is an incredibly fair and competitive rate, as we would know because we quoted it across 4 different major carriers and provided the most economic rate among them. The fact that the items made it intact despite the box being badly crushed is a credit to our packing and shipping department doing their job properly. We use very sturdy boxes, but we have no control over how the carriers treat those boxes, which is why all of our items are exceedingly well-packed and fully insured for transit. We're sorry to hear that you don't believe you received an optimal experience with our auction house, but we believe that you are misinformed and that the reasons you cite are actually a credit to us rather than a detriment. While we do our best to package our items as safely as possible, carriers can be very hard on parcels, which is why we insist on all of our parcels being fully insured for transit.
