Impressed by the Swords (and other Stuff too)
I was very impressed by the Swords, (also ones of which are hard to find), like Polish & Prussian Swords and the other stuff too: such as the Historical Art (work), miniature statues, and Toys, etc. etc. I think the terms and conditions are fair-It also offers In House Shipping at a fair price. (Which not all auction houses do). I learned the hard way of trying to find & set up Shipping Afterwards with auction houses on my own. It can be even harder in other Countries.

Very good experience time after time
I have collected a few pieces now with Sofe and each experience was very good overall. I think this is my 4th sword I have won over the last few years and in each case, I was pleased with what I recieved, the packaging was carefully undertaken and the items were as described. I will continue to purchase from Sofe; I look forward to viewing the next auction catalogue!

Extremely excessive shipping costs: (
$225 item became $380. Not normal to pay 60 % in costs including the ridiculous fee of $60 to ship this small package from texas to florida. These nickel and dime auction houses are destroying the trust here at Liveauctioneers. Not worth it in the end.

At this point I probably spent over $100, 000 purchasing items just from Sofe Design. Always great description, always available to answer questions. I have not had a single marginal experience with this auction house and follow them closely. Shipping is great, extremely easy to arrange. Same with the pick-up. I had an opportunity to pick several items up and it was very easy-the owner was available, assisted in bringing the stuff out to the car, helped pack and, overall, it was an awesome experience. I trust Sofe auction house and they are awesome!

Bidder gave 3 stars because we did not offer in-house international shipping to Poland. We know that international shipping is expensive, but The terms and Conditions of Sale clearly indicated that it is bidders responsibility to arrange and pay for international shipping. It was bidders responsibility to request a shipping quote prior to placing a bid.

Nice item, horrible shipping
Overall an average rating only because the recommended shipping company charged a small fortune. Once the package arrived, I understood why. Enormous "overkill" on the box and packing materials. 3 types of wrap and a box big enough to send 100 swords, let alone one lonely sword. Took a small army to unwrap the item. Ill think twice about them in the future

Never again
The pick up was not great! We followed instructions given and made an appointment for pick up. Items were not ready, Workers were rude and dismissive. It was all terribly unprofessional and we will not buy from this house again.

There was an issue with the clock and when I called them, they were quite pleasant and sent me a refund to cover the issue at hand. I wll be back buying more from them.
